Managers are encouraged to adopt one or more tools. When a manager adopts a tool they commit to learning more about that tool and will be identified as a resource for other makers who want to learn more about that tool.

Comments in the notes column such as 'Can teach expert topics', 'Enjoy teaching basics to new users', etc. will help others to understand the level of help you can offer.

Jacob heard about the Sandbox in late Fall of 2017 while he was looking for a place to solder. He became a manager in the Spring 2018 and has been involved ever since. The Sandbox is his favorite place on campus.
Jacob works primarily on hardware, but isn't afraid to code. While many of his projects feature [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOT IoT]], he has been known to make gifts and fix jewelry as well.
